The material is naturally oil and grease resistant without any fluorinated (PFAS) treatment, which is the property that foam and coated paper rely on and that regulators are now restricting. Containers hold rigidity to 85°C for hot mains, survive freezer temperatures to -20°C, and are home compostable and marine biodegradable at end of life.
